Justice Systems

The Justice Center and Jail Expansion Project provided the Fayette County Justice System with relief to an inefficient and dated court facility as well as a severly overcrowded inmate population.  The 153,000 sq. ft. Justice Center is home to all of the County's Courts, Grand Jury, District Attorney, Solicitor and Property Records. The adjacent 384-bed Jail is linked to the Justice Center by subgrade tunnel, providing a secure, efficient means for inmate movement.
